Roto Grip has been around since the late 1960's making solid bowling balls. When sales slowed down in the 1990's they were bought by Storm in 1998. Since then, Storm has manufactured the balls for Roto Grip with the first being the infamous SD-73 known as the "The Ball Banned from the PBA Tour"
